Welcome to fifth grade and East Prairie! I went to school here when I was your age and graduated from
TCHS. I then went to Eastern Illinois University in Charleston where I received my bachelor's degree. I worked
in insurance for almost five years and decided I needed a change. I started substitute teaching in Tuscola and Villa
Grove. A full-time aide position opened up and I have been at East Praire ever since. Just a while ago I decided
I wanted my own classroom so I am going back to school to get my teaching certificate.
I was born and raised in Tuscola. I have three nieces and two nephews. I love spending time
with them, spoiling them, and then sending them home! I think education is very important. Knowledge is power
and I plan on filling you with alot of it! Learning is work, but it can also be fun and exciting. Stick with me
and we will have a great school year!

I want this transition to be a smooth one. After all, you are going to be in a new grade, a new school, and have a new
teacher. We will deal with it together!
